7/22/21 - Today was ancestry day, visiting multiple graveyards, crypts, historical records etc. Fun uh? Very successful search. We were able to find her grandmother/father and family five generations back on Wendy's mothers side of the family. One of the family members fought in the Civil War in the 1860.
We did manage to fit in a drive across the Mississippi River into Iowa to see the American Pickers original location and store. Interesting place, but much smaller then it looks on Tv. Tidbit, Buffalo Bill was born in the same town - Le Claire, Iowa as the American Pickers shop.
That’s Cool. Wondered what it would look like up close. Have Fun !!
