8/6/21 - We left our great camping spot in Big Horn Canyon this morning heading to Cody, Wy. Last pics of Bighorn camping.

A bit rainy this morning and very windy heading to Cody. The town founded by Col. Buffalo Bill Cody in 1896 was entirely planned by him and his buddies. Streets are very wide in town as Buffalo Bill wanted to be able to turnaround his team of horses and wagons.  There is a very large museum highlighting Buffalo Bill in town. We have been to the museum with Boy Scouts a number of years ago.

Every day on the side street of the historic Irma Hotel a gun battle is reacted. Fun for kids.

We were planning to go to the Cody Rodeo tonight, but an approaching storm with high winds kept us away. Tomorrow, we travel to Yellowstone to meet our family for a weeks vacation with them.

  1. Sorry you missed the rodeo, but you are still having a great time! Enjoy the next week with the kids, and greet all of them from us. One of these years we will have to get all the kids together again!
